About Laura Wooster

President, A Motion Response

Laura Wooster is a strategic communications professional and the President/Owner of A Motion Response. For nearly 20 years, she has helped Fortune 500 companies, small- and medium-sized businesses, government agencies and trade associations build programs and campaigns that influence positive perceptions about their brands and promote actions that support their strategic goals — from revenue growth to employee satisfaction; from improved brand awareness to changing consumer attitudes.

Laura has extensive experience in branding and messaging, internal and external communications, customer and member programs, and global public relations. She is skilled at integrating multiple marketing disciplines to develop effective and measurable communications campaigns.

Before founding A Motion Response, Laura was a Managing Director at Qorvis Communications, one of the largest independent public relations agency in the U.S. Previously, she was Director of Global Public Relations for information security specialist Cybertrust, and also held in-house corporate communications roles at Appian and AMS. In addition to Qorvis, Laura has worked at leading global public relations agencies Hill & Knowlton and Waggener Edstrom. She began her PR career at Vision Council of America, an optical industry trade association.

When not working on her clients' business, Laura can be found at Trapeze School New York-Washington, D.C., where she is a flying trapeze performer and instructor. She is also a Yoga Alliance-certified (RYT 200) vinyasa yoga instructor and teaches at East Side Yoga and VIDA Fitness.

A Motion Response was formed by global communications executive Laura Wooster. After more than 15 years of communications experience with corporations, associations and public relations agencies, it became evident that there was a better way to service organizations seeking to increase the impact of their communications and marketing efforts. At A Motion Response, we focus on results — not activities — to ensure our clients are maximizing their marketing investment and generating the desired industry, market or consumer responses.
